Terms of service
These Terms of Service govern your use of the Beauty To Go website and online store. By accessing the site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms and to the policies linked from the site. If you do not agree, do not use the site or place an order.
Eligibility and accounts
You must be able to enter into a binding contract where you live, or use the store with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian. You are responsible for the accuracy of information supplied through the site and for maintaining the confidentiality of account credentials. Notify us promptly of suspected unauthorized account use.
Products and information
We aim to describe products, ingredients, colours, sizes, availability and other details accurately. Screen settings and packaging changes can affect how a product appears. Product information may be supplied by brand partners and may change without notice. Read the current label, ingredient list, warnings and directions before use.
Beauty and personal-care products are not presented as medical advice or as a substitute for advice from a qualified health professional. Stop using a product and seek appropriate advice if you experience a concerning reaction.
Orders and acceptance
Submitting an order is an offer to purchase. An automated confirmation acknowledges receipt but does not necessarily mean the order has been accepted. We may decline, limit or cancel an order before shipment for reasons such as unavailable inventory, pricing or product-information errors, payment issues, suspected fraud, resale activity or shipping restrictions.
If we cancel an order after payment has been captured, we will refund the affected amount to the original payment method.
Prices, taxes and payment
Prices are shown in Canadian dollars unless the site states otherwise. Applicable taxes, shipping and any other charges are shown before the order is submitted. Prices and promotions may change without notice, but changes do not affect an order already accepted except where correction is permitted by law.
You authorize Beauty To Go and its payment providers to charge the payment method selected at checkout for the total shown. Payment information is subject to the terms and privacy practices of the payment provider.
Shipping, returns and refunds
The Shipping Policy and Returns and Refunds Policy form part of these Terms. Review them before placing an order.
Promotions and gift cards
Promotions, discount codes and gift cards may have additional terms shown with the offer. Unless stated otherwise, offers cannot be combined, have no cash value and may be changed or withdrawn before an order is accepted, subject to applicable law.
Reviews and other submitted content
If you submit a review, photo, comment or other content, you confirm that you have the right to provide it and that it is accurate, lawful and does not violate another person’s rights. You grant Beauty To Go a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, display and adapt the content for operating and promoting the store, subject to applicable privacy law and any specific permission requested for marketing use.
We may moderate or remove submitted content that is unlawful, abusive, misleading, irrelevant, infringing or otherwise inappropriate, but we are not required to monitor all content.
Intellectual property
The site and its original text, graphics, layout, photographs and branding are owned by or licensed to Beauty To Go and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Brand names, logos and product materials may belong to their respective owners. You may use the site for personal, non-commercial shopping only. No content may be copied, republished or commercially exploited without permission, except as allowed by law.
Prohibited use
You must not misuse the site, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, introduce malicious code, scrape or harvest data, impersonate another person, submit false information, violate intellectual-property or privacy rights, or use the site for unlawful, fraudulent or abusive activity.
Third-party services and links
The site may rely on or link to third-party services, including Shopify, payment providers, social platforms and delivery services. Third parties operate under their own terms and privacy practices. Beauty To Go is not responsible for third-party sites or services except to the extent required by law.
Availability and disclaimers
We work to keep the site available and accurate, but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free access. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the site and its content are provided on an “as available” basis without warranties beyond those expressly stated or imposed by law.
Limits of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Beauty To Go will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive or consequential loss arising from use of the site or products. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability, warranties, remedies or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
Changes, severability and governing law
We may update these Terms by posting a revised version with a new effective date. Changes apply from publication and do not retroactively alter an order already accepted, except where required by law.
If a provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply. These Terms are governed by the applicable laws of Canada and British Columbia, without limiting any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live.
